Amanda Garcia was the Manager, Brand Standards at Sprout from 2015 to 2016. In this role, she served as the chief liaison between Sprout Brand Standards and Production, Programming, Brand, Ad Sales and Digital teams, working directly with the SVP of Legal, Senior Director of Programming, Director of Multiplatform, Creative Director and Brand Marketing on Sprout marketing campaigns and live shows, and was the key stakeholder in strategy discussions for network priorities, marketing kick-offs and multiplatform expansions, granting approvals and providing notes and compromises as needed.
Previously, Garcia's first role at Sprout was the channel's Specialist, Standards & Practices from 2013 to 2015, where she was within department for promoting both brand and company standards within all on-air content, while making sure that content follows FCC regulations and children's advertising legislation. In addition, she was also the main point of contact for all programming, advertisements, promotions and marketing initiatives as well as managing and updating internal databases such as SIMS, VCI, Mainframe and Grip-It. Unique to Sprout, The Sunny Side Up Show provided an opportunity to monitor improvisational craft, recipe and play content for preschoolers and their parents, as well as to attend all creative and production meetings pertaining to The Sunny Side Up Show. Garcia was responsible for reading scripts, screening animations and approving designs for all upcoming co-productions for Sprout, working side-by-side with Development, Original Programming, Brand Marketing, and Media Planning and Digital teams to ensure all content matches both creative and brand standards, providing notes and compromises when needed.[1]
