Anna Philipose (born January 4, 2005) is a girl from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where Sprout was originally operated until NBCUniversal acquired it. She was one of the finalists of Sprout's Kindest Kid Contest in 2013.[1] In 2012, Anna asked her birthday party guests to bring new winter clothes instead of a gift for herself, which she then donated the outerwear to a local women's and children's abuse shelter. A year later, Anna asked her guests to bring new toys, which were donated to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. For her 8th birthday in 2013, she would be asking guests to donate money towards the special needs camp Dragonfly Forest, with the goal of fundraising enough in donations to send one of them to the camp.
