Sprout's Scrambled April Fun Day
April Fools' Day, or All Fools' Day, is an annual custom on April 1 consisting of practical jokes and hoaxes. Jokesters often expose their actions by shouting "April Fools!" at the recipient. Mass media can be involved with these pranks, which may be revealed as such the following day. The custom of setting aside a day for playing harmless pranks upon one's neighbor has been relatively common in the world historically.
- Sprout switched up the timeslots of its programming blocks on April Fools' Day with Sprout's Scrambled April Fun Day from 2008 to 2015.
- Tim and Chica dress as one another for April Fools' Day in a 2016 broadcast of Sunny Side Up.
- Sprout aired a marathon of its longest-running and arguably most popular show, Caillou, for April Fools' Day in 2017, as well as announcing new episodes of their other programs.
