Brian Williams (born May 5, 1959 in Ridgewood, Bergen County, New Jersey) is an American journalist at MSNBC, serving as the network's chief anchor and host of its flagship weeknight news program, The 11th Hour with Brian Williams. he was also a former host of Nightly News from 2007 to 2015.
He appeared in a commercial for Kindness Counts, where he commented on Ann Curry's report on a kind act with Big Bird and two of his Sproutlet friends (including Adriana Camposano): "Kindness, how touching."
