Caillou's Holiday Movie is the only Caillou direct-to-video movie. It takes place around Christmas time and begins 12 days from Christmas.
The film aired on Sprout on December 17th, 20th, and 25th, 2007[1] during Hooray for the Holidays, December 17th[2] and 27th, 2010[3] and December 9th[4] and 18th, a year later,[5] both at 1PM ET, and was a part of both Elmo's Movie Merry-Thon and Merry Movies.
The film continued to air near Christmas and survived the tenth anniversary and the launch of Universal Kids. Its last broadcast was in 2018, shortly before the Caillou show stopped airing.

- When the film aired during the Merry Movies block in later years, a red curtain background with stars on the sides of the screen was seen.
