China, officially the People's Republic of China, is a country in East Asia. It is the world's most populous country, with a population exceeding 1.4 billion, slightly ahead of India. China spans the equivalent of five time zones and borders fourteen countries by land, the most of any country in the world, tied with Russia. With an area of approximately 9.6 million square kilometres, it is the world's third largest country by total land area.

- Chica and her friends visit China during the "Holiday Hop" number in the Chica Show episode "Dance of the Sugar Cluck Chica."
- In the Good Night Show episode "Pen Pals," Nina tells a sandy story about a girl from China named Nuo who becomes pen pals with a boy from France named Leron, who just went on a trip to her country.
- The Lin family from Nina's World are of Chinese descent, and an episode revolves around them celebrating Lunar New Year with Nina.
- In "Nina Takes the Stage," Mrs. Lin shows Nina, Chelsea B., and Carlos some things her husband got back from his trip to Beijing - a silk robe and tang hat - and marionettes of The Monkey King and Xuanzang, characters her mother told her stories of growing up, which Nina and her friends proceed to put on a play with.
- Mr. Lin grew up in China, where, according to "Nina's Everything Garden," his mother made lemon balm plants.
