  • Nina tells the Sproutlet viewers that tonight's adventure will be about the circus, with Star serving as the ringmaster, curious to know why they're called that. She tells him that circuses usually have three rings where performers put on their acts, with the ringmaster in charge. She also tells the Sproutlets about people in the circus such as trapeze artists, tightrope walkers, and of course, clowns, her favorite part of circuses, all of which she proceeds to show pictures of. She then explains that the word for circus in Spanish is circo, which she invites Star and the Sproutlets to say with her.
  • After singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star," Nina and Star look at tonight's constellations through the Sprout-o-scope - an elephant and a circus tent.
  • Nina teaches her Sproutlet friends a tightrope stretch.
  • After Star asks Nina if she can juggle, something she's never done before, she tries and fails.
  • Tonight's Goodnight Game is a circus listening game, in which Nina and Star listen to the sounds elephants, clowns, and drums make.
  • It's time to play "Lucy Light the Way." Based on clues (an elephant, a bear on a unicycle, and a tent), Nina and Star guess Lucy is in a circus.
  • Nina recites a poem about a girl who doesn't know what to be when she joined the circus. After trying training a león, performing on a trapecio, and riding an elefante, she finally settles on being a payasa.
  • Nina teaches the sign for "circus."
  • Nina and Star talk about what people in the circus wear. Tonight's Sandy Story is about a circus lion named Sunny who, after balancing on top of a chair and jumping through a hoop, tries and succeeds at walking on a tightrope.
  • In the Star Talks segment, Star and his Sproutlet friends discuss what they saw in the circus and what they like about it.
  • Nina the Ringmaster introduces Star as a clown. Just before Star can do his act, Nina announces the circus is closing and that it's time for bed. ... Nina tells Star that he must be tired. He tells her he's not and that he wants to keep performing.
  • Nina welcomes back the Sproutlets and explains that they've had a great Circus adventure tonight, giving a brief recap. She then points out that Star is asleep, and wonders if he's dreaming of swinging on a trapeze.
