Comet is the leader of the Astroblast crew. He is the main protagonist of the series. He is a brown dog who wears a blue outfit with two white buttons, a yellow belt with the Astroblast Snack Shack icon on the middle and white shoes. He is voiced by Vinnie Penna.

Comet is known for his loud, exciting personality, he is a big fan of Captain Super Duper, he likes to play with his toy, and he has many comic books about him, he is also very good friends with Halley.

- Comet was originally going to be called Apollo in the 2011 pilot. However, his name was changed to Comet in the final series, probably because of Pajanimals having a character with that name.
- Comet was going to wear an orange outfit with two white buttons, a yellow belt with the Astroblast Snack Shack icon on the middle and white shoes. However, since the main characters wore orange clothes similar to the book series, Comet would wear a blue outfit instead of an orange one in the final series so that kids can recognize him.
