Zanes with Chica.
Dan Zanes (born November 8, 1961) is a children's artist formerly of the Del Fuegos. He has also appeared on Noggin and has contributed to the Sesame Street songs "Jump Up" and "Emmanuel Road," the former of which was included in the Happy Healthy Monsters DVD.
Zanes, along with co-star Sonia de los Santos, appeared on The Sunny Side Up Show in 2012 for Music week with Carly and Chica to sing a few songs, including "Jim Along Josie" and "All Around the Kitchen." He has also appeared once on August 29th, 2013 with another children’s singer, Elizabeth Mitchell, promoting their album "Turn Turn Turn," and in a music short in which he and his band sing "The Fine Friends Are Here" with Chica directed by Kelly Vrooman[1] which aired on September 13th around 9:45 after Noodle and Doodle.[2] Zanes appeared on Sunny once again in 2014 to promote his then-new album "Get Loose and Get Together."
