SCENE 1 | Nina and Star greet the Sproutlet viewers while looking through a costume chest and talk about pretending to be different things while dressing up, followed by a version of the Welcome Song. Nina talks about tonight's theme and asks Star what he's dressing up as now - he's dressed up as a superhero, his favorite thing to be, given the fact that they're big, strong, and can save people. Nina recites a poem about pretending to be anything, with Star filling in her blanks, and explains that the Spanish word for costume is disfraz, which she invites Star and the Sproutlets to say with her. |

SCENE 2 | Nina and Star welcome back the Sproutlets and explain that tonight's adventure is about playing dress up and wearing costumes, or disfraz. Nina asks Star if the sky likes to dress up at night, with a cake of sparkly stars and the moon as a crown. After singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star," they look up at the stars through the Sprout-o-scope and notice constellations of a cowboy hat and a princess dress. Nina and Star then hear Chica squeaking, prompting them to explain that she's going to celebrate Sproutlets' birthdays... |

SCENE 3 | Nina welcomes back the Sproutlets and tells them that playing dress up lets them be anything they want, giving them examples using a purple cape, such as a fortune teller or an Arabian princess. She then hears her Sproutlet friends calling her down for a Sprout stretch, which she goes out into The Goodnight Garden to do.
Nina teaches her Sproutlet friends a scarf stretch, in which they put scarves on their legs and reach them into the air and back down. |

SCENE 4 | Now it's time to play Lucy Light the Way. Nina and Star guess where Lucy is based on some clues - a snowman, some skates, and a deer. It turns out she's in a snowy field. |

SCENE 5 | Nina and Star use top hats to pretend to be magicians and tap dancers. Nina explains once again that the Spanish word for "costume" is disfraz, and adds that both mask and its Spanish translation antifraz rhyme with disfraz by reciting yet another poem. She then teaches the sign for dress up, putting her thumbs to her chest and brushing them away, and invites the Sproutlets to sign along with her. Afterwards, Nina tells the Sproutlets that Chica is here once again with today's birthdays... |

SCENE 6 | After a brief recap of the night, Nina tells Star that circus performers play dress up every time they go to work, listing the outfits they wear. She also notes that clowns tell silly stories, and speaking of which, it's time for a sandy story.
Tonight's tale is about a girl named Katie and her pet cat, Kitty, who like to play dress up using old blankets from their magical dress-up chest, pretending they're the likes of a magic carpet and a superhero cape. |

SCENE 7 | After he tells the Sproutlets about tonight's Dress Up adventure, Star asks Nina if she can teach him another Spanish word. Nina responds by saying divertido and that it means "fun," since's it's time to do something fun - play a Goodnight Game. Tonight, the Moonbeam Wheel lands on two apples, which means Nina and Star are going to play a matching game, in which they match hats to a boy in snowclothes, a girl in rainclothes, and a girl in a bathing suit. |

SCENE 8 | After telling the Sproutlets about the night's adventure, Nina notes that they have something important to do now - feed Hush, with Star offering her the fish food. Since it's getting close to bedtime, Nina and Star have another important thing to do - clean up the You and Me Tree, which they do through song. |

SCENE 9 | Nina tells Star that one can play pretend while dressing up, giving an example by putting on a stephoscope and pretending to be a doctor. After she puts a thermometer in his mouth, she tells him that he has a bad case of the "sleepy jeebies." Star admits he's not sleepy yet, though Nina tells him that it's now time for him to brush his teeth and wash his face, leading to "Ready for Bed." After that, Star is "all dressed up" and falls asleep. |

SCENE 10 | Nina turns off a light and welcomes the Sproutlets back, then points out Star is already sleeping, and wonders what costume he's wearing in his dreams. Now it's time to say goodnight to Hush, so Nina signs his goodnight poem with help from the Sproutlets. She then sings the Goodnight Song as Lucy closes out the episode. |
