Chica to the Rescue
Mrs. C finds Chica with a garden hose, as a girl named Beverly, who's visiting The Costume Coop with her grandmother, is going to dress up as a firefighter in her school play about safety. After Kelly comes by with a firefighter's hat and yellow raincoat, Beverly's grandmother tells her that they're going to come back tomorrow, since her best friends are going to play a police officer and crossing guard. Mrs. C then asks Chica to put the hose back where it belongs, which Kelly does, and reminds her that she should always look where she's going - Mr. C doesn't, as he falls over with a box of costumes. Chica's parents decide to clean up the mess and ask Chica to look for a toy hose. She finds a cracker box in the coop's closet which she uses as a firetruck, knocking down costumes in the process. Kelly and Mr. and Mrs. C remind Chica to be more careful, and the former finds a toy fire hose which she thinks is perfect, eventually handing it to Beverly and her grandmother. After the coop closes, Kelly and Chica are firefighters who help Stitches find Bunji, who saw a ladybug and rode his bicycle into a watermelon. They eventually find him in a bush. Back in the Costume Coop, Kelly and Chica come across Mr. C, who's wearing his hardhat for fixing the mailbox.

Chica and the Vikings
A boy named Maxwell enters the Costume Coop with his mother Janice, requesting something cool to wear for viking day at school. Kelly finds a spear and medallion and hands them to him, while Mrs. C hands him a helmet. Chica then tells her mom that she wants a viking helmet just for her and is inspired to make one. After a while, Chica is still in the middle of making her costume, and Mrs. C can't find a basket for Maxwell. Kelly then promises him that she'll keep him in the know if they find one. Afterwards, Kelly hands Chica some glue, which she snatches right out of her hand. Mr. C tells her to be nicer to others and use her manners. After the coop closes, vikings Kelly the Kind and Chica the Cheerful teach good manners to Eric the Rude (Stitches) and Leif Lettinson (Bunji) and give them some fish. Back in the Costume Coop, Kelly and Chica come across Mrs. C as a viking who sings about finding her key next to a stuffed monkey.
