Chinese New Year[]

EJ and her children Lucas, Isabelle, and Marcus call Sean, asking if he can make something special for their family to share for Chinese New Year. They brainstorm an idea which Doodle sketches - make a dancing dragon puppet using an egg carton, plastic spoons, feathers, long piece of cardstock, cut-out handprints on colored paper, and chopsticks. For dinner, they'll make lucky dragon dumplings - chicken, garlic, ginger, and eggs with a wonton wrapped around them, recycling the egg carton container to make a dragon head. On the Noodle and Doodle Bus, Sean finds Noodle wearing earmuffs for the Chinese New Year fireworks display and unable to hear a word he's saying. She tells him she washed her hands, and he goes off to do so himself, leading to "Handwashing." Now it's time to make the lucky dragon dumplings, which Sean and Noodle make together. When they're done, the latter decides to recycle the egg carton for later's craft, while EJ supplies her children with chopsticks for them to use. In the meantime, at Doggity's Diner, Doggity and his team make dragon soup for visiting dragons. Afterwards, Lucas, Isabelle, and Marcus arrive on the bus and make the dancing dragon puppets they were promised earlier with Sean, while Noodle hands them their lucky dragon dumplings. The kids then use their puppets and eat their dumplings.

Notes[]

  • The Doggity's segment featuring dragon soup was also used in "Dino Stomp."

Wrapping Presents[]

Cecelia and her mother Jenny call Sean, asking if he can help her and her brother Julian with a birthday party for twins they're going to. They brainstorm an idea which Doodle sketches - make cookie mix using an empty jar, some flour, dried fruit, oatmeal, and brown sugar. They'll also make a birthday cake gift box recycling the oatmeal container and using colored paper. On the Noodle and Doodle Bus, Sean finds Noodle hiding inside a present and wearing a hat made from left-over birthday ribbon. She tells him she washed her hands, and he goes off to do so himself, leading to "Handwashing." Now it's time to make the cookie mix, which Sean and Noodle make together. When they're done, the latter decides to recycle the oatmeal container for later's craft, while Jenny supplies her children with colorful paper for them to use. In the meantime, at Doggity's Diner, Doggity and his team make french toast dippers for painters who have finished work on the walls outside. Afterwards, Cecelia and Julian arrive on the bus and make the birthday cake gift boxes they were promised earlier with Sean, while Noodle hands them their cookie mix. The siblings then hand the birthday twins their cookie mix.
