Bedtime2
SCENE 1 Nina welcomes the Sproutlets at home and asks if they're ready for a good night together, leading to the "Welcome Song." She and Star then hear a sound, which the latter thinks is a squadron of smiling Sproutlets, but is actually the Goodnight Bell. Nina reaches into her basket and pulls out a toothbrush, a book with stars and The Moon on the cover, and Star's Sweet Dreams cap, which Star notices and comes to the conclusion that tonight's adventure is about bedtime routines, Star realizing he didn't say the latter word, which Nina explains is something he does every night, which he said earlier. Nina then teaches him the first thing, the Spanish word for "routine," routinas, which she invites him and the Sproutlets to say with her.

SCENE 2 Nina welcomes back the Sproutlets and explains that tonight's adventure is about bedtime routines, or routinas, leading to a poem. Star points out that routines aren't usually thought about, and Nina breaks it to him that's because they do them every night or day and are thus used to them. He also notices mention of singing lullabies, and Nina deduces that music is a soothing way to get to sleep, as is hearing a story. She then asks the Sproutlet viewers what their bedtime routines are. Star points out that he likes another part of his bedtime routine - looking through the Sprout-o-scope and, after singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star," look at tonight's constellation - a toothbrush.

SCENE 3 Nina and Star welcome back the Sproutlets and the latter tells them that they're talking about bedtime routinas tonight. The former predicts that not all Sproutlets have the same bedtime routines - for example, while some might take a bath before bed, others may not until morning, so Star concludes that bathtime is part of their morning routine. She points out that baths are a good way to help one's body relax, as is a Sprout stretch, which she goes out into the Goodnight Garden to do.

Nina and her Sproutlet friends pay tribute to Arnold from Kipper by doing Arnold's Clean-Up Stretch, in which they pretend to put a board game on the highest shelf by reaching their arms, put toy cars under the bed by bending down and pushing, and shaking their arms afterwards.

SCENE 6 Nina welcomes back the Sproutlets and tells them that they're talking about routines, or routinas. Star wonders if there are many different routines. Nina says there are, and that one of her favorites is sharing stories, and gets the idea to hear what Sproutlets do before bed, leading to the real kids segment.

SCENE 7 Star suggests he and Nina do another part of his bedtime routine - not cleaning his room, but the Goodnight Game.

Nina and Star engage in a picture hunt, in which they find bedtime-related items in a quilt Grizzly Gran made for Sister Bear.

SCENE 8 Nina welcomes back the Sproutlets and gives a brief recap of the night, and Star adds that he's going to stay up all night. Nina tells him that it's hard for one to think about bedtime when they're having so much fun, but rest is important, and what they're going to do before he goes to bed, including learning sign language. She then teaches the sign for "school," which her Sproutlet friends do along with her.

SCENE 9 Nina welcomes back the Sproutlets, explaining that tonight's adventure is about bedtime routines, and that the word for "routine" in Spanish is routinas. Star tells her that he didn't know that there were so many routines until tonight. Nina points out that there aren't just bedtime routines, but morning routines, like eating breakfast before going to school. Star adds that he always naps after lunch, and Nina adds that it's part of his afternoon routine, while as for weekend routines, some Sproutlets visit their grandparents or go out to breakfast with waffles or pancakes. Nina then asks the Sproutlet viewers what they have as part of their own routines. Now it's time for a happy routine - to look at Sproutlets' crafts and drawings in the Goodnight Gallery, which Lucy shows. Nicole, 5, of Mount Shasta, California presents herself with a book cover, Grant, 5, of Henderson, Nevada has another book cover, for a story called "The Bird Who Fell Out of a Nest," and Carsyn and Zoe from Lake Elsmore, California draw Nina and Star.

SCENE 11 Nina tells Star that it's time for him to start thinking about getting ready for bed, but he isn't sleepy yet. He decides that he'll get ready for bed if Lucy does it, too, but Nina explains that she goes to bed before her, adding that, like many animals, fireflies are nocturnal. Star then decides he wants to be an owl tonight, but concedes that he'd rather be a star and get ready for bed, leading to "Ready for Bed."

Afterwards, Nina tells Star that he's all cleaned up and ready for bed, and he admits that he thinks the singing helps. He also tells her that he's going to dream about the fun things they did tonight.
