SCENE 1 | Nina and Star greet their Sproutlet friends, asking if they (and Lucy and Hush) are ready for another good night, and sing the "Welcome Song." Nina says there will be a lot to do tonight, prompting Star to add he'll stay up for all of them. Nina asks Star what he'll do at the end of the night, and he replies that he'll stay up and watch the sun rise. When they hear the Goodnight Bell, Star asks if the sun is coming up, when Nina explains that is the Goodnight Bell, and grabs an illustrated picture of a family with two Sproutlets out of her basket. The mom and dad are circled, so tonight's theme is parents. Star points out the kids look so happy to be holding hands with their parents. Nina tells him he guessed the adventure, which is about parents, or in Spanish, padres, which she invites Star and the Sproutlets to say with her. |

He tells her that he'll be a great father and will teach Little Star lots of things. Nina says that parents teach their kids lots of things. Nina says her parents went to her soccer games, and Star says he'll teach Little Star to stretch after soccer, which reminds Nina that it's time for a Sprout stretch.
Nina and her Sproutlet friends do a stretch called the Sliding Board, in which they get down on the floor, stretch their feet out in front of them, putting their hands behind them, and lift their hips up in the air, trying to see if they can put their toes on the floor. Afterwards, they get back up and take deep breaths. |
