SCENE 1 Nina welcomes her Sproutlet friends to The You and Me Tree. After Star tells the Sproutlets he's happy they're here, Nina tells him that sight is one of our five senses. She then lists the senses - sight, smell, hear, taste, and touch, giving her the idea to go on a Five Senses adventure tonight, leading to the Welcome Song. After Nina tells the Sproutlets that they're going to have a great five senses adventure tonight, Star admits that five is a lot. Nina tells him that they're important because they help us learn about our world. The duo then talks about their senses. Afterwards, Nina tells the viewers the words for the five senses in Spanish - cinco sentidos, which she invites Star and the Sproutlets to say with her.

SCENE 2 Nina explains that she and Star are making popcorn and enjoying it using all five of their senses. They hear, or eschuchar, smell, or oler see, or veir, touch, or tocar, and finally, they taste, or provar the popcorn. Afterwards, Nina teaches the sign for "taste."

SCENE 3 It's time to play Lucy Light the Way. Based on clues (strawberries, a hanging scale, and some fruit), Nina and Star guess Lucy is at a fruit stand (EKA: Food). Star likes fruit and wonders how we taste it. Nina explains that tongues have thousands of little bumps called taste buds that help us taste different flavors. Star names the senses again but, when he gets stumped on sight, Nina reminds him, leading to him suggesting they use the Sprout-o-scope and sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, noticing constellations of an eye and a nose in the process. Nina congratulates Star for his singing, and he thanks her since he has a good singing voice. Nina tells Star that Chica also likes to sing, leading to a Sunny Side Up Show segment.

Interstitial In the Sunshine Barn, Carly reads Jack and Jill to Chica. Afterwards, the duo talks about "-own" words. Chica wants to read another story, but Carly convinces her to go to bed. After asking the Sproutlets if they have a favorite book they like to read every night, Carly waves goodbye and encourages them to watch The Sunny Side Up Show every morning.

SCENE 4 Back in the You and Me Tree, Nina tells the Sproutlets at home that Star is out in the Goodnight Garden chatting with real Sproutlets, leading to a Star Talks segment. Star and his Sproutlet friends (including Leila[1]) discuss their five senses. Afterwards, Nina tells the Sproutlets that they're going to relax their senses with a Sprout stretch. Outside, Nina teaches her Sproutlet friends a stretch called "Touch the Sky."

SCENE 5 Nina and Star welcome back the Sproutlets and explain that our eyes can see amazing things when it comes to artwork. They use their eyes to see (and make) tonight's Sandy Story, which is about Ozzie, an owl who bumps into trees and eventually gets glasses. Afterwards, the duo has to do something important - feed Hush. Now that it's getting close to bedtime, there are a few other important jobs to do, including cleaning up, which Nina and Star do through song.

SCENE 6 It's time for Star to brush his teeth and wash his face, but he isn't sleepy yet. Nina explains that of the Sproutlets at home will help him, leading to Ready for Bed. After the song, Star tells Nina that he's not tired, eventually falling asleep. Now it's time to say goodnight to Hush, so Nina signs his goodnight poem with help from the viewers. She then sings the Goodnight Song as Lucy closes out the episode.
