Sprout Playground

Games and Videos was a Sprout mobile app.

Children's Network LLC made the app in 2012 and featured games, videos, TV schedules, Sprout Tunes, and coloring pages. In 2015, for Sprout's tenth anniversary, the app was renamed "Sprout Playground," which later became "Universal Kids Play" during the first quarter of 2018.

You and your preschooler can enjoy Sprout on the go! The Sprout Games & Videos app recreates the fun, interactive playtime of SproutOnline.com with these great features:

  • Play two brand new games, Lotsa Pops and Picture Maker, featuring beloved Sprout characters.
  • Use the video player to watch adorable Sprout clips. New videos are regularly added and automatically stream to the player each time your child launches it.
  • Check out cute animations, funny voiceovers, and hidden surprises, sure to delight your Sproutlet!
  • Find out show times for your favorite Sprout TV shows.
  • Link to other Sprout apps, including Dress Chica, Dress Like Chica, Good Night Star, and Doodle Dots — available for download at the iTunes App Store.

Main Menu Main Menu From 2011 to 2013, the main menu was a network of islands home to Sprout characters, similar to SproutOnline.com. It included The Sunshine Barn with Chica, Nina and Star on the Moon, the Sprout House Band, the Pajanimals, JB, Caillou, Elmo, some fish, Mr. Mailman holding up a game, and the Sprout logo on a flag.

From 2013 to 2015, the main menu was previews of games, videos, music, apps, and the Sprout logo on a cloud.

The Good Night Show Picture Maker Game Players could make a picture using Nina, Star, Lucy, Hush, a Teddy Bear, a comet, a yawning clock, a tree, and the moon. "Clean Up" plays instrumentally.

Scribbler Game Players could color pictures.
Caillou game
