Hawaii is a state in the Western United States, about 2,000 miles from the U.S. mainland in the Pacific Ocean. It is the only U.S. state outside North America, the only state that is an archipelago, and the only state in the tropics. Hawaii comprises nearly the entire Hawaiian archipelago, 137 volcanic islands spanning 1,500 miles that are physiographically and ethnologically part of the Polynesian subregion of Oceania.
- Mr. Mailman travels to Hawaii in an episode of The Many Adventures of Mr. Mailman and can be seen in the state in the show's opening.
- In the Noodle and Doodle episode "Sweet Memories," Sean adds some tropical fruit to the Sweet Memories cake since Samantha and Jessica's grandparents, who are celebrating their 40th anniversary, had their wedding in Hawaii.
