Hooray for Mother's Day was a Sprout stunt celebrating Mother's Day that ran from 2006 to 2015.

The block was initially hosted by Kevin, who read Sproutlets' mother's day cards delivered by Mr. Mailman, and made a card for his own mom, in between mom-themed episodes of shows like The Berenstain Bears, Angelina Ballerina, and Pingu, as well as footage of real moms talking about motherhood. When the block ran again on May 12th and 13th, 2007, where more than 7,000 messages were received, it was live, making it the first time Sprout has done so, even prior to The Sunny Side Up Show, which launched the same year.

In 2008, Nina hosted the special with Chica on the set of The Sunny Side Up Show, with Star appearing on the Sunday broadcast. In May 2009, Nina and Star hosted the block from a different set. On Saturday, the block featured mom-themed show episodes, as well as showing viewer-submitted Mother’s Day cards and crafts, while Sunday showcased preschoolers' phone calls about their moms.

In 2010, Kelly, Chica, and Mrs. C hosted a live Mother's Day block from 12PM to 3PM. It aired again in 2011 during The Sunny Side Up Show's usual timeslot. In 2012, the special featured Dennisha and her son Declan. Pratt also hosted the special in 2013, 2014, and 2015, returning as a guest for the latter year. The scripted on-location segments were written, directed, and produced by Jenn Santee.
