
Kindest Kid Countdown was a live special that aired on Sprout from 1PM to 4PM ET on December 21st, 2013, with an encore on the 25th - Christmas Day.
The special was hosted by Kelly and Chica (Scott McClennen), the latter of whom visited with the finalists of the Kindest Kid Contest and showcased an interstitial featuring then-new Sunny Side Up Show hosts Tim and Kaitlin and music videos from the Sunny hosts and Laurie Berkner, as well as a singalong of "If You're Kind and You Know It" featuring various Sprout characters. The Chica Show episode "All of a Kind Chica" also aired during the festivities.
Another Kindest Kid Countdown aired a year later on November 29th, 2014, but was hosted by Nina and Today Show host Jenna Bush Hager was featured in segments, interacting with the finalists.
Notes
- News releases for the special note that music videos from Dan Zanes and Elizabeth Mitchell were to be featured. However, they did not appear.
