Monkey See Monkey Do is a Israeli-Canadian CGI animated-live action hybrid series. The series was created by Tamar & Yuval Levy.

Plot[]

"Monkey See Monkey Do is a colorful, upbeat CG animated series which encourages children to engage with the show's characters through dance and song. Watch the series every week day morning at 7:30 am ET." (link)

History on Sprout[]

The show joined Sprout on August 24, 2010, initially airing at 7:42AM ET during Sprout's Wiggly Waffle. Just one week later, it began airing at 3:33PM ET on The Sprout Sharing Show, replacing Dragon Tales. When The Let's Go Show dissolved, it also started airing at 9:39AM ET on weekend editions of The Sunny Side Up Show.

It later stopped airing on the Sharing Show in March 2011 when Super WHY! premiered on the channel until returning once it started airing at 4PM ET (later 4:50PM) when The Super Sproutlet Show premiered in February 2012. However, it left the block again that August when Olive the Ostrich joined Sprout.

When Wiggly Waffle dissolved, it started airing at 8AM ET during The Super Sproutlet Show. The series stopped airing on April 19, 2013, with Tree Fu Tom taking its timeslot on Super Sproutlets shortly afterwards.

The second season, which was commissioned by 9 Story after the show stopped airing on Sprout, never aired on Sprout. The show was also seen on the late Qubo network.

  • Once The Let's Go Show dissolved, the "Banjo's Banana Dog" recipe was themed after this show.
  • The show premiered on Sprout exactly one year after Sprout's Wiggly Waffle launched and Rubbadubbers and The Wiggles' first six TV series premiered on Sprout.
