New York is a state in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern regions of the United States. It was one of the original thirteen coloniesforming the United States. With a total area of 54,556 square miles (141,300 km2), New York is the 27th largest state; its population of more than 20 million people in 2020 makes it the fourth most populous state in the U.S.
- An episode of The Many Adventures of Mr. Mailman sees the titular character visiting New York. Additionally, a city resembling NYC (complete with the Statue of Liberty) could be seen in in the online game Help Mr. Mailman Get Ready. Mr. Mailman could also wear an "I Love New York" shirt in the same game.
- In a Sprout Sharing Show sketch, Curtis E. Owl receives a letter from Poughkeepsie resident Betsy, who asks him what his favorite thing to share is, which turns out to be his bass.
- There was a coloring page at SproutOnline.com of Chica visiting New York.
- In the Chica Show episode "Chica the Bock-a-Doodle Builder," Mr. C dresses in a Statue of Liberty costume, which was inspired by a family trip to New York.
- On May 5th, 2014, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced operations of Sprout were relocating to New York from Pennsylvania,[1] with The Sunny Side Up Show filming in 30 Rockefeller Plaza.
