Nina Sabrina Flores is the Goodnight Guide seen on The Good Night Show as of December 2006, replacing Melanie Martinez's Melanie the Babysitter (even though Leo was the transition host), and has also guest hosted The Sunny Side Up Show on occasions, once replacing Dennisha Pratt when she was on maternity leave (see: Nina on The Sunny Side Up Show).

Nina is a woman who does activities to wind down Star every night. Nina frequently helps Sproutlets unwind for bed on the show, and also helps teach Sprout stretches, crafts, signs, and Spanish words, tells stories, and plays games.

Throughout the blockisodes, Star asks Nina if he can stay up a little longer, a reference to the real-life fact that kids are doing the same to their parents, and the two hold up a debate for the rest of the night. In the penultimate segment, Star finally gets ready for bed and falls asleep.

In 2015, an animated show called Nina's World was made for Sprout's 10th anniversary. The show focused on her childhood living in an unknown big city. Prior to that, a show for Sprout On Demand was made called "¡Hola Sproutitos!," where she and Lucy the Firefly taught words and phrases in both English and Spanish. She and Star also narrated Nina's Little Fables.

Appearance

Nina is a Latina woman with long black hair, a red pajama shirt, white pajama pants with stripes, and slippers. In 2011, when the block was about to move to The You and Me Tree, Sprout held a "Pajama Poll" called "You Pick the PJs," which allowed viewers to choose four pairs of pajamas for Nina to wear while hosting. Eventually, Nina got new red with buttons, pink, purple, and dark purple pairs while still retaining her old ones. Due to this, episodes were shot out or order and segments such as Sprout a Sandy Story had to be shot five times.

In Nina's World, she has pigtails in her hair and wears a green shirt.
