PBS KIDS Sprout's Big Birthday Surprise was a Sprout stunt held in September 2006, celebrating the channel's first anniversary.
The block, which ran from 3PM to 6PM ET, was hosted by Kevin of The Birthday Show. Shows that aired during the block, usually birthday-themed, would be introduced via Sproutlets opening presents delivered to them by Mr. Mailman. In between shows, Sprout characters such as Bob, Barney, Big Bird, Noddy, Caillou and Angelina Mouseling would wish the channel a happy birthday.
Additionally, the Angelina Ballerina special Angelina's Princess Dance and the then-new Bob the Builder special Built to Be Wild aired.
