PBS Kids Sprout TV Wiki
Frequently Asked Questions

Questions that are frequently asked will be answered here.

Which network?

This wiki covers the TV shows that appeared on PBS KIDS Sprout, the only 24-hour preschool channel parents and kids share together for everything from birthdays wishes to bedtime stories. For shows broadcast by PBS Kids, please visit the PBS Kids Wiki.

Pages for shows from PBS Kids, Nick Jr./Noggin, and Disney Junior/Playhouse Disney should not be added here. For example, Clifford the Big Red Dog is exclusive to PBS Kids and should only appear on the PBS Kids Wiki. However, Barney & Friends was broadcast on both PBS Kids and Sprout, and can be included on both wikis.

Sprout shows, not shows on other channels

As noted above, for a show to be included on this wiki, it needs to have been broadcast on Sprout. Do not automatically include children's shows that have been broadcast on PBS or NBC.

Children's shows that have appeared on more commercial networks like Noggin, CBeebies, or Qubo should not be added here unless they can be confirmed as also having been broadcast on Sprout.

Fan fiction

Absolutely NO fanfiction or false information on this wiki. (i.e. Thomas & Friends and Bob the Builder returning to Universal Kids)

Where is Sprout now?

The original Sprout channel closed down in 2017, and was replaced by Universal Kids, which airs on to this day.

What blocks did Sprout air?

During its run as a cable channel, Sprout's programming was packaged into Programming Blocks to reflect the time of day. Musical Mornings and then Sprout's Wiggly Waffle aired from 6am to 9am each weekday morning, The Sunny Side Up Show aired live from 9am to noon weekday mornings (later every day as of 2010), The Super Sproutlet Show aired from noon to 3am, but later replaced Wiggly Waffle, The Let's Go Show and then The Sprout Sharing Show aired from 3pm to 6pm, with the latter later airing from 4pm to 6pm, and The Good Night Show aired from 6pm to 9pm every evening, with repeats at 9pm and midnight.
