History on Sprout

PICME started airing on Sprout on April 21st,[1] 2008, airing every weekday morning on the Sunny Side Up Show at 11:49AM ET. The show teamed up with its primary block, the Sprout Sharing Show, which it aired at 5:18PM ET that year on May 5th, to produce new episodes featuring American children instead of just Irish children.

However, it stopped airing on June 12th, 2011, the same day as seasons 8 to 10 of Thomas & Friends.

Notes

  • A clip from "Early to Bed" of Clarence the Crocodile sleeping appears in the 2008 edition of Sprout's Snooze-a-Thon.
  • In 2005, PICME was awarded the Best Digital Storytelling Category at the Digital Media Awards and received first place at the Kidscreen Pitch It Summit. PICME also picked up the award for Best Youth Programme at the Irish Film and Television Awards.
