Play By Play was an interstitial segment on Sprout that aired throughout the channel's tenth anniversary rebrand. A sports show parody, the segments featured two children named Mike and Jess talking about favorite scenes from Sprout shows. The segments were written, produced, and directed by Marc Cantone.

	The Berenstain Bears	Mike and Jess go over Sister Bear in a jump-rope contest, point out her switching paws, and present footage of her practicing through the training cam.
	Boj	Mike and Jess go over Mr. Cloppy doing ice skating tricks at the Giggly Park ice rink.
	Caillou	Mike and Jess go over Gilbert letting a cricket out of a jar, which hops around Caillou's house.
	Nina's World	Mike and Jess comment on footage from "Super Nina!" of Nina and Carlos pretending to be superheroes, point out the latter's "superhero skills," and present footage of the two smushing Mrs. Goldstein's cupcakes through the slo-mo cam.

• The "Berenstain" in the Berenstain Bears show title is referred to as "Berenstein."
