Sesame Street Closing On PBS Kids Sprout
Plaza Sésamo is the original Latin American co-production of Sesame Street. The series premiered in 1972 and was discontinued in 2016 and all material produced for the Latin American market was rebranded simply as Sésamo.
Episodes of the show from 1997 to 2006 was available on Sprout On Demand, where it was preceded by a promo about Sesame Workshop's productions around the world that was also seen on Sesame Street DVDs.
