Rosie (called Mousseline in the French version) is the baby sister of Caillou.
She was voiced by Brigid Tierney in the first two seasons and early season 3 and by Jesse Vinet throughout the remainder of the show.
About Rosie[]
She is Caillou's 2-year-old sister. She is also the daughter of Boris and Doris and the granddaughter of Grandma and Grandpa. She was shown as a newborn in the episode Big Brother Caillou. At first, Caillou did not like her! He was mean to her! But was nice to her at the end and other episodes.
Personality[]
Rosie is gentle, playful, and a bit stubborn. She can get upset when she's not included. But she has good intentions even when she ends up being cheeky with her intentions.
She is shown to cry a lot over many things, but she also likes to laugh a lot. She can't talk as well Caillou can usually just short sentences some even being one word or a sound effect plus speaking in the third person most of the time. Most of the time, she says her name, Rosie.
She and Caillou are shown to have a good relationship. However, they are shown to have some quarrels here and there. As shown in "Caillou Loves Halloween" and "Caillou is a Clown", she used to be coulrophobia or afraid of clowns, but Caillou was able to help her overcome her fear by dressing up as a clown and showing they are just people in costumes.
She's developed a lot in the later seasons. In "Caillou Helps Out", she starts teething, and in "Am I Big Yet?" she goes through a growth spout. From Season Three onward, she is shown to be in potty training.
Apperence[]
Rosie has orange hair, which used to be short (as shown in episodes like Big Brother Caillou, where she was a newborn), but as she grew older, it become longer.
Rosie wears a teal long-sleeved calf-length dress with a whitish-yellow collar and a matching colored sash, red ankle-high socks, blue strapped Mary Jane shoes, and diapers in the first two Seasons, then frilly blue panties from Season Three onwards.
When Rosie was a newborn, she wore yellow long-sleeved zipper-front footie pajamas with a red zipper.
In various episodes of Season One and New Member Of The Family, she was shown wearing a yellow long-sleeved white collared pajama shirt with a zipper accompanied by yellow pajama pants and pair of red baby booties.

- It is shown in "Olive Muddle" that Rosie likes olives.
- In "Caillou Sings", it is revealed Rosie's favorite song is "Ring Around the Rosie".
- Rosie does not like beans, as shown in "Caillou Becomes A Waiter".
