Season 2 of The Good Night Show was filmed in April & May 2006 in a "two-week marathon session"[1] and premiered on July[2] 10th.[3]
Description
This season introduces Star, a new on-air puppet sidekick for host Melanie, who softens her voice and has her hair down. Melanie Martinez was unfairly axed from Sprout shortly after this season's premiere (see: Firing of Melanie Martinez), which led to a three-month hiatus while auditions were held for a new host. During the hiatus, short segments of music and with Sproutlets aired instead of Good Night Show-branded continuity links, until A Very Special Good Night premiered on September 11th.
