Season 2 of The Good Night Show reboot premiered on September 26th, 2007, the same day Musical Mornings and The Sunny Side Up Show launched and Bounce and Play With Me Sesame premiered on Sprout.
Description
This season adds a few new things to the show - Sproutlets now join Nina in Sprout stretches, marking the first time they have been on the set,[1] and Signs, with children from an ESL school appearing in the latter segment, Nina and Star tell stories using the crafts they made earlier, and a new segment called Lucy Light the Way is introduced, in which Lucy would go to a different locale and the Sproutlet viewers see three shadows of things Nina and Star would guess. This season also introduces Star to a hammock that acts as his bed, as well as Teddy. Additionally, the Real Kids segments make a return after being seen in A Very Special Good Night.

- Rainy Days - Nina reaches into her basket and pulls out an umbrella. She explains that tonight's adventure will be about rainy days.
- Grandparents - Nina reaches into her basket and pulls out a picture of Grandpa Piggley Winks reading a book with his grandkids. She explains that tonight's adventure will be about grandparents.

Notes
- This season introduces Caillou, a mainstay on Sprout since its launch, Today's Birthdays, and the Pajanimals interstitials.
- The stretches in this season were mostly based on Sprout shows, probably hence why they were called "Sprout stretches."
- This season aired in reruns until 2011, the year the fourth season premiered.
