The fourth season of The Good Night Show premiered on November 7th, 2011.
Logline
- "Hey! Hooray! We have another fantastic season of The Good Night Show! Join friends Nina, Star, Lucy, and Hush for their latest good night adventures. Watch the new season week nights from 6pm to 9pm ET." (link)
Description
This season introduces The You and Me Tree, a cozy treehouse-like setting where Nina and Star play and learn each night. Despite the setting change, reruns of the previous season continued to air until late 2012.
Starting this season, the craft segments are replaced by a new segment called Sprout a Sandy Story, in which Nina and Star tell stories using sand art, and a "Clean Up" song, which Nina and Star sing while they clean up for the night, is introduced. The real kids segments are also replaced by Star Talks.
Nina also sports four new pairs of pajamas chosen by viewers as part of a poll known as You Pick the PJs. To quote Andrew Beecham, "Sprout viewers let us know that they wanted to see Nina in some new PJs, So, we had a poll allowing viewers to vote on new designs and received an overwhelming 700,000 votes!"
