Seven Little Monsters, or 7 Little Monsters, is a Canadian-Chinese-Filipino animated television series about a family of seven monsters and their mother. The series, based on the book of the same name, was created by Maurice Sendak and directed by Neil Affleck, Lynn Reist, and Glenn Sylvestor. Each monster is named after a different number from one to seven, and each has unique physical characteristics. Because PBS co-owned Sprout when the channel was launched, it aired a variety of shows from its archive library on Sprout, including reruns of Seven Little Monsters.[1]
History on Sprout
The show never aired on the linear channel, but episodes were often featured on Sprout On Demand, under the "Children's Favorites" category, and it was listed on Sproutletsgrow.com. However, it for some reason was removed from on-demand, on TV, and online sometime in early-mid 2006, along with a few other shows.
