History on Sprout[]
The show joined Sprout on November 5th, 2016, and was the last PBS series to premiere on the channel, as PBS lost interest in owning Sprout in 2013 and most of its shows stopped airing when the channel turned ten in 2015. A launch party was held on November 5th at the NASA Wallops Flight Facility Visitor Center at Wallops Island in Virginia with special guest, retired NASA astronaut and Space Shuttle commander Robert L. "Hoot" Gibson.[1]
It survived the launch of Universal Kids on September 9th, 2017, and was pulled from its lineup on March 22, 2020.
