Control Room

Sprout Control Room was a series of interstitials that aired between shows during the afternoons on Sprout, premiering in 2014 and replacing The Sprout Sharing Show. The interstitials were short-lived as they dissolved a year later, replaced by the Sunny Side Up Show hosts showing viewers' videos.

In the interstitials, hosts Meeka and M'Goats showcased videotapes sent in by viewers.

Notes

  • Online, the show was referred to as "Sprout Shorts"
  • Meeka was recycled from the same puppet originally used as Banjo, with some altered features.
  • Aquafresh's "The Nurdle Durdle" played instrumentally during segments, even though it was dropped as a commercial in 2013.
  • To promote the premiere of Astroblast! in 2014, the show was briefly renamed Mission Control.
  • Chica appeared in at least one segment.
  • The set was designed by William Kegler.[1]
