Sprout a Sandy Story

Sprout a Sandy Story was a series of sand art segments on The Good Night Show, added in 2011's fourth season with The You and Me Tree, replacing the craft segments as the "making something" segment on the show. In these segments, Nina and Star would tell stories about the episode's theme using sand art, with both giving characters names and providing the voices. The segment also got its own app, as well as an online game on SproutOnline.com.

	Magic	A little girl named Annabelle has a magic blanket that can take her to imaginary places such as outer space, Her older brother Isaiah then tries the blanket and goes to Egypt.
	Dress Up	A girl named Katie and her pet cat Kitty play dress up using blankets from a chest, pretending they're the likes of a magic carpet and a superhero cape.
	Circus	A lion named Sunny tries different circus acts and eventually excels at jumping through a hoop.
	Birthdays	A boy named Al, whose family comes from Mexico, celebrates his birthday with a piñata.
	Shadows	A puppy named Pedro plays with his shadow all the time, but doesn't see it on a cloudy day.
	Gift Giving	A bunny named Babs has so many carrots that she places them anywhere she can think of, eventually sharing them with her friends.
	Five Senses	An owl named Ozzie bumps into trees and eventually gets glasses.
	Safety First	A tadpole named Herman learns to hop.
	When I Grow Up	An acorn named Addie grows up and becomes an oak tree.
		A panda bear named Tinga is about to move to a zoo in New York City with her mother, who reassures her that she can bring anything she wants there.
		A fish named Fred befriends a dolphin named Donald and recounts their differences.
		A mama and papa robin build a nest for their baby, sitting on its egg until it cracks and hatches. As days pass by, the parents feed him and teach him to fly.
		Elephant and crocodile find a river
	Families	A bat named Bartholomew, nicknamed "Barty," tries to find a family, trying hedgehogs and a deer but eventually winding up to owls, for they're also nocturnal.

		A bird named Bobby and squirrel named Sandy are best friends. When winter comes, Bobby and his family have to migrate for the winter, upsetting Sandy, until he tells her that he won't be gone for long. After Bobby takes leave, Sandy spends the winter eating nuts and keeping warm with her siblings. When spring comes, Bobby returns.
		Rachel sings her little brother Roger to sleep.
		A boy named Jake gets a new baby brother named Max.
		A toucan plays the flute for her friends in the jungle.
	Imagination	A cat named Harper uses her imagination and pretends to be a queen, with a golden crown with her favorite chair as a throne and her surroundings as a castle, during a thunderstorm outside.
	Differences	Lulu does everything with her grandfather, from playing basketball to apple picking, but when he gets a wheelchair, he reassures her that they can still do the things they usually do together, even if everything is different.
	Pen Pals	A boy named Leron, who lives in France, goes on a trip to China with his family, which they explore and even visit the Great Wall of China. There, he meets a girl named Nuo, whom he plays with until it's time to return home. Back in France, Leron decides to be pen pals with Nuo, writing to her about the likes of school and piano lessons, while Nuo writes about food, her family, and games.
	Shadows	A bear named Bailey spends the winter with her family in their dark cave, where bears hibernate. The family hibernates throughout the winter, but when spring arrives, they venture out to explore, with Bailey noticing the flowers and feeling the sun on her fur, then noticing another animal following her this whole time, which turns out to be her own shadow.
