Contests held by Sprout.
- Yearly costume contests - Grown-up sprouts were encouraged to send in photos of their Sproutlets in Halloween costumes. The winners were announced on The Sunny Side Up Show.
- Sprout's Thanksgiving Diner Party (2006) - Families were encouraged to send in a Sprout Diner snack for Thomas & Friends (i.e. Choo Choo Chopped Salad). The winning recipe was the Shaughnessy family's "Thomas' Club Car Sandwiches," which got its own animated short.
- My Refrigerator (2007) - Families were encouraged to in photos of their refrigerator of pictures, artwork, and characters. The winner would receive a Chester Creek Technologies Computer.
- Summer Fun Fridays (2008) - Sending in artwork of Summer-related activities. The weekly winner, announced on The Sunny Side Up Show, would receive a Pure Digital Technologies flip video camcorder.
- Sprout's Preschool Weather Reporter Contest (2008 and 2009) - Sprout would gather Sproutlets at the Sprout Mall Tour for a contest, and the winner (Mikey Letts and Maddyx Poulin) would guest star on The Sunny Side Up Show to tell the weather with the hosts again.
- We Heart Your Videos (2009) - Visitors were encouraged to submit a video of their children doing something like painting or playing piano, and the winners would have their videos shown on TV. The grand prize winner would receive a gift basket, a Thomas & Friends DVD, and trip to four to a Thomas live show.
- Mr. Mailman's Summer Adventure Contest (2009) - Grown-up Sprouts were encouraged to print a picture of Mr. Mailman out, color him in and take a picture of him with their child on a summer vacation, and then enter their photo online, and the winner (Ian Piet) could win tickets to Please Touch Museum and Sesame Place, both in or outside Philadelphia.
- Sprout's Wigglemania Photo Contest (2009) - This contest was held on Facebook, where grown-up Sprouts could post their Sproutlets making their most outrageous and excited wiggly face. The photo with the most votes received a flip video camera, and the grand prize winner won a Nintendo Wii and a shirt signed by The Wiggles.
- What Have You Learned (2009) - Sproutlets were encouraged to send in artwork depicting things they learned and the winner could receive a gift package featuring a LeapFrog Tag Junior.
- Sing a Sprout Song Video Contest (2010) - A contest where viewers were encouraged to sing a Sprout song in a one to four minute video, and five winners would receive a Sprout iPod or MP3 player,
- Sports Candy Cook Off (2012) - Sending in photos of healthy recipes to promote The Super Sproutlet Show. The winner would receive an Xbox 360 with Kinect accessory.[1]
- Choose to Reuse (2010 & 2012) - Sending in photos of recycled objects. The winner would receive a Sprout gift box.
- The Chica Show Squeakstakes (2012) - A contest encouraging people to select a costume for Chica to wear to the premiere of The Chica Show. The winner would get to go to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
- Share the Set with Chica Sweepstakes (2013) - A contest in which the winner would get to receive a walk-on role in a second season episode of The Chica Show.
- Host Hunt (2013) - A contest that encouraged people to send in a 60-minute audition video for The Sunny Side Up Show after Kelly Vrooman announced her departure from the show. A live event was also held hosted by Vrooman, Chica, and Carly Ciarrocchi, and the finalists would go to Philadelphia to audition live with Chica in front of the producers.
- Sprout's Call the Coop Contest (2013) - A contest in which children were encouraged to send in videos of them calling Kelly.
- Kindest Kid Contest (2013 and 2014) - A contest that selected kind kids in America as finalists, and the winner (Emma Lock and Sierra Preveza) would become Sprout's "Chief Kindness Officer" for a day and visit Chica. In addition, a countdown would air on TV hosted by Kelly and Chica, featuring a new song by Laurie Berkner and an episode of The Chica Show. Sponsored by Thomas & Friends and ABCMouse.com.
- Happy Feet on Sprout Sweepstakes (2015) - A contest encouraging people to participate in the Secret Questions in between an airing of the movie Happy Feet.
