Steven Westren has written the Nina's World episodes "Nina and Her Shadow" and "The Star Amigos' Art Show." Outside of Sprout, Westren has wrote for The Blobheads, Ricky Zoom, Powerbirds, Norman Picklestripes, True and the Rainbow Kingdom, Addison, Wandering Wenda, You & Me, Numb Chucks, The Adventures of Napkin Man, Almost Naked Animals, My Big, Big Friend, The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That!, Franklin and Friends, Doki, My Friend Rabbit, Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs, Toopy and Binoo, Dragon, Groundling Marsh, and Wimzie's House and is the president of Gallimaufry Entertainment Inc.
Additionally, Westren co-created the proposed Sprout series Wombat and Rabbit.
