Slide for the festivities.
In 2009, Sprout celebrated "Thanks for Giving Week" by having Sean and Chica visit different places on The Sunny Side Up Show to thank important community helpers who make everyone’s lives better, safer and more beautiful, including teachers, firefighters, policemen and farmers.[1][2] As with other Sprout stunts, Sproutlets were encouraged to send in phone calls on why they are thankful this season and might hear their voice live. In addition, an episode of Brambly Hedge aired,[3] as well as a special blockisode of The Good Night Show premiering on November 26th, made to promote The Great Sprout Tuck-In,[4] which at the time was sponsored by Johnson's and The Pajama Program. Turkey hand crafts were also available at SproutOnline.com. Viewers were encouraged to submit artwork and videos and see them on TV.
On November 22nd, 2011, Barney visited Liz and Chica in the Sunshine Barn to sing songs, read birthday cards, answer phone calls from viewers, and thank viewers who have been doing kind acts recently. Additionally, Caillou's Holiday Movie aired during the festivities in both 2011 and 2012.
