"The Sunny Side Up Show pilot" is not an official name.

The Sunny Side Up Show pilot was an online commercial from 2007. It featured Chica, Kelly Vrooman, and Kevin Yamada, as well as Big Bird from Sesame Street (here played by Matt Vogel). It served as a pilot to The Sunny Side Up Show.

Description

The purpose of this commercial was to inform viewers that Sprout would launch The Sunny Side Up Show live on its second anniversary (September 26, 2007). This promo includes Chica, Kelly Vrooman, Kevin Yamada, Andrew Beecham, the SVP of programming at Sprout, and Big Bird of Sesame Street.[1] It also advertised what the block would feature, including birthday cards, pictures, videos, and artwork.

Notes

  • The pink toaster in the Sunshine Barn was going to have the word "MAIL!" in black on bread, but it was dropped when the block launched.
  • Mr. Mailman was going to come out through sliding on roller skates from a small red door, but when the block launched, he instead came out through the window.
  • The window originally had something green (probably a tree or a bush) by the sun.
  • The pilot was originally on MultiVu as part of a press release as well as the website's Dailymotion account, but Sprout fan user Let's Grow (formerly Let's Grow (Sprout Utopia)) found it and posted it on YouTube.
