The United States of America is a country primarily located in North America. It consists of 50 states, a federal district, five major unincorporated territories, nine Minor Outlying Islands, and 326 Indian reservations. The United States is also in free association with three Pacific Island sovereign states: the Federated States of Micronesia, the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau. The country celebrates its founding date as July 4, 1776.
America has been the only country to broadcast Sprout, which was available in over 60 million homes, and most of the channel's aired shows and original productions take place in the states.
Sprout productions have also talked about American history, mainly when called for on The Sunny Side Up Show (for example, Chica dressing up as George Washington and Abraham Lincoln several times and singing happy birthday to them with Kelly once). Mr. C also dresses as The Statue of Liberty in the Chica Show episode "Chica the Bock-a-Doodle Builder" after a family trip to New York.
Several episodes of The Many Adventures of Mr. Mailman see the titular character embarking to different states and their landmarks.
