



- Nina uses her nutcracker to crack a walnut. Star is amazed, but doesn't know that a nutcracker is a tool. Nina tells him (and the Sproutlets at home) what a tool is and lets him try the nutcracker, showing him how to do it. He succeeds in cracking the walnut.
- Nina and her Sproutlet friends (including Liliana Ortiz) do a stretch called "Scrub-a-Dub," in which they pretend to scrub the parts of their bodies.
- It's time to play Lucy Light the Way. Nina and Star guess Lucy is on an island. After Star admits he loves building sandcastles on the beach, Nina asks him to name tools for building sandcastles, and he names a shovel and a pail.
- Nina welcomes back the Sproutlets and reminds them that the Spanish word for "tool" is herramienta, which she invites them to say with her. She then explains that tools can help one do certain things and lists examples. Afterwards, she hears her Sproutlet friends calling her down for a stretch.
- Nina welcomes back the Sproutlets and tells them that Star is out in The Goodnight Garden talking with real Sproutlets, leading to a Star Talks segment. Star and his Sproutlet friends discuss tools and what they are used for.
