Zerby Derby is a British-Canadian live-action television preschool series that was created by Phil McCordic.
Plot
- "Welcome to Zerby Derby, a world where pint-sized cars live and play in a life- sized forest. This live-action series follows remote – controlled friends Zack, Lily, Rec and Axle on their daily adventures as they explore the forest around them." (link)
History on Sprout
The show premiered on Sprout on March 1st, 2014 at 11AM ET. To promote, Zack made a guest appearance on The Sunny Side Up Show, where Tim and Chica sang "The Wheels on the Zerby," a variation of "The Wheels on the Bus," and again at the start of 2015 with Carly and Chica, singing "Down by the Station." New, spring-themed clips of the show were introduced on the week of March 3rd (Videos week) during Spring is Sprouting.[1]
The series even survived the 10th anniversary rebranding in 2015, but was one of many Sprout programs to be dropped from Universal Kids on May 20, 2018.
