Zou is a French/Australian animated children's television series inspired by the books of French author Michel Gay. The show was produced by the French company Cyber Group Studios for Disney EMEA. It premiered on Disney Junior (UK & Ireland) in May 2012.
Plot

- "Zou lives with his zebra family in a large zebra house. Apart from that, he is just like any regular kid! Well supported by his close-knit family, he is keen to gain more independence and always tries to stretch himself and broaden his horizons. Each day brings a new sense of discovery and exploration to Zou, who finds the world around him a source of constant fascination." (link)
History on Sprout
The show premiered on Sprout on September 2nd, 2013,[1] and aired at 10:40AM ET during The Sunny Side Up Show and 6:45PM during The Good Night Show. It was also shown on NBC Kids.
Episodes also aired during Grand Grandparents' Day in 2014 alongside Caillou. New episodes premiered on March 30th, 2015.
However, it stopped airing on Universal Kids in 2018, along with most of the other remaining Sprout shows.
